family...
hey yall....how are you doing. let me tell you right now, it is great down here. this are[a] has soo much going on. we are currently teaching two very solid investigators that we feel coul have baptismal dates by the end of the month. there are two other peopl that we are trying to meet up with that we feel coul very well be baptized by the end of the year.
we are also finding much success in finding through our own efforts. it seems that we talk to people and find that they dont mind if we come back. we were able to find 6 new investigators this past week. obviously, some seem more promising than others, but we are really seeing an outpouring of His spirit among the people not in just this area but this stake....not to mention that it is happening with the members too.
we had stake conference this past week and the WHOLE thing was about how the units in the stake need to be inviting friends and family to com unto Him. it was amazing to see the stake presidency all bear wtness that "the field is white, all ready to harvest".
after church, conference rather, we received two phone calls from members with referrals. one was a guy that said he was going to invite his friend over to listen to us and another was the elders quorum pres. saying he saw a couple on the side of the road out of gas. he had a gallon in a can in his car, so he pulled over and gave it to them and then asked if it would be alright if he sent two of his "friends" (us) over to talk to them. they agreed and gave him their address. he told us that the wife of the couple had prayed to the Lord for help, and just as she saida "amen" he pulled up with gas....miracles have not ceased. and we get to witness that daily.
i am really pumped for these last few months. elder cosby and i are really doing well. working hard and getting along, so i am excited. not sure there is much to report besides that, but we are feeling good. thanks for all you guys do. i did get yall's letters and such, thank you.
