hello family....
so, sorry that it has taken me a bit to email this week, but we had to head up to the dentists office. my tooth was giving me trouble. all is well now. luckily there is a member in the neighboring area who does all the missionary stuff for free. i really appreciate all he has done for me.
this past week was nice. elder kicker is now at home with his family and elder parkinson is here. me and him are really having a fun time and seem to be on the same page. that made is easier to get to wrk. he has a some attributes/skills that i woul really love to learn and grow from.
laura was able th make it to church. she stayed for the first two hours. she is sooo awesome. she cannot wait to be baptized. she studies 3hours every morning, and then when she gets home from work, she said that she usually studies another hour or two. so amazing. i feel so lucky to even know her.
we were also able to teach Mischa. she is a friend of a member. we taught her last week and again this week. we followed up on her commitment to read and pray about the BofM and she told us that she knows its the word of God. so we then discussed what the really MEANS if it is a true book. we talked about baptism, and she expressed to us that she has already been baptized. we talked about authority and how this isnt just "another church", but how this is the same church Christ set up, restored back to the earth....she said the closing prayer and sincerely asked god if she needed to be baptized again but into this church. it was a really neat experience.
tom didnt make it to church, neither did muscle man (aaron sundstrom), but we will continue to work with them.
