thank you so much for that package. everything is awesome. i love you all . i really appreciate it.
this last week was reall cool. we had zone leader council, which was really cool. today, transfer info is supposed to come out, but is has not yet...luckily, we found out at ZLC (zone leader council) that me and elder kicker will be staying together for his LAST transfer. crazy, eh? i cant believe he only has one more. its nuts.
so tom made it to church, and all is looking up for him. laura had to work, so she did not make it to church, but there was an amazing thing that happened this week.
a missionary that served here 2 yrs ago came and visited. he stopped by our apt at night just to see the apt. we got talking about who we were teaching and stuff, and we talked abou laura....the conversation went on, and he mentioned he was from corona, cal. then i remembered that laura always talked about a missionary from there, because she is from corona and went to high school there. i told him about that to the former "elder" goudy, and he was a little puzzled.....then he remembered talking to a lady, that worked at walmart, that was from there. long story short, he is the missionary that planted that seed.
he said that it was just the usual conversation that you make with people everyday. she was a nice lady, but it was a one time thing and it happened 2 yrs ago. we told him that she is now golden. he was shocked and decided that the next day, he was going to visit her at walmart. he went and talked to her. she remembered him and he asked if she was gonna get baptized and she said, "of course, i cant wait. i read the BoM every night!"
me and elder kicker plan on setting a date with her this week. so that is the exciting story of the week. i love you all. thanks for all you do. take care.
