god speed

hey family. this past week was pretty good. we had a member bring their friend to church...and we have a return appt with her for saturday.

next week we find out TRANSFER info, however, in my interview this past week, president told me who my new companion will most likely be.....elder parkinson. he is the district leader in the district im in. he is super cool. he is a hard worker and we get along really well. that will be cool.
we have not heard from laura this week. she was supposed to get home on the 10th, but she isnt home or answering her phone....i hope she is alright.

this past week, at tom's, youll never believe what we had for dinner.....fried chicken and waffles. no i know that you are thinking of those two things as seperate, but no, you get a waffle, put a piece of fried chicken on top, the smother the whole thing in syrup. i have never felt so gross in my life....it didnt make me sick, but you use you hands and forks, so i was sticky and greasy at the same time. it is definitely not my favortie thing to eat. haha, but it was an experience.

we did a lot of service this past week. most of which was in the rain. it was fun. well, thats all the news for now. we will talk to yall soon. love ya
