hello family...
well, another week away.....man, time is going by way too fast. this past week was good.
laura was out of town, and she gets back on the 10, so she didnt make it to church, but we got to see her right before she left. she said that she will call us right when she gets home.
tom came to chruch, however, no baptismal date or anything. we are going to be meeting with him on tuesday. hopefully all goes well there.
we had zone leader council this past week. it was real neat. we have zone conference on thursday. that too will be a treat. no offense to elder kicker, but i am anxious to know who my new companion is. i know that i dont find out for a while, however, i really wish i knew who to expect. regardless, we will be giving our all. life is good out here.
man oh man it is hot though. oh well, you cant change it. we are averaging 91 or so, but luckily, this past week, we have had some good rain, and when it rains, it gets down to low 80s or even 70s...that feels soooooo good. yesterday, we walked out of a lunch appt, and it was all cloudy and getting ready to pour.....and it was 76. HEAVEN!. the handle on the car door was actualy cool feeling. man, i cant wait for summer nights in utah....but oh well.
yeah. so thank you sooooo much for the package. i appreciate it. elder kicker says thanks, too. (thanks for the shirt, it fits alright, but just for future refrence, im an XL, not XXL) luckily both the BYU one and the america one shrunk, so now they fit perfect.
for the 4th, the branch had a pancake breakfast, followed by some football. then we went and mowed our branch presidents lawn...at night we had dinner with The Edwards (coolest people EVER). we played some badmitton and then watched fireworks for about 15 mins...then we had to go. it was really fun!
