well hello there....

thank you so much for the easter package. i really appreciate it.

all is well here in Paradise (Destin). to be completely honest, its crazy. currently, there are quite a few schools/colleges on spring break, so there are people EVERYWHERE.....and to top that off, more than half of them are bikin wearin girls. everyone just walks around scandelously(spelling?) dressed, its no good....

but the branch here is great. me and elder kicker are having a fun time working hard! it seems like, since this is just a vacation spot, that nearly all of our investigators have come from and need to come from/through the members. the people we see on the street are rarely from around here. we have quite a big teaching pool....we just re picked up a former investigator, but now this time its with her boyfriend and his two sons. we have an appt. with them on friday. there are some others we are teaching that i have not met yet.

church is crazy. there is a brand new building, but its rather small....BUT they are averaging 150 in attendance. that fills up the chapel AND the relief society room. its nuts.

we go work out every thursdsay with this less active member who is in to those strong man competitions....and so what do we do with him for a work out? well, we strap on a harness and pull his 2000 lb jeep. its an insane workout. get this, the guy, aaron sundstrom, pushed the jeep 50 yards with [h]is boss sitting in it AND with the PARKING BREAK in 7 clicks! it was insane. he is a tough guy.

so, mark got baptized this week...it was great. i was supposed to talk on baptism, but 5 mins before it started, they asked me to speak on the Holy Ghost......gotta love being a missionary, haha. well, i guess i'm off and i'll be here for a bit.....talk to yall later....and remember, life is GOOD
