so i am pretty mad right now....
i just typed a HUGE letter to ya'll, and the one time i forget to copy it, i get kicked out....so i guess ill re write this one. GRRRR
as for investigators: mark ferrell is doing great. he doesnt want to set a date quite yet, but he said that baptism is in his future. he came to church and everything. we have an appt with him tonight. hopfully all goes well there.
now let me tell yall about the gelormini situation. we met with them on saturday. and the outcome is, in a nutshell, mr. gelormini wants us to call him in 30 days and followup on his study. he is going to read, in these 30 dayd, the dead sea scrolls and another book called the mohammed library of something weird like that, as well as alma 32 over and over.....if he doesn't get his answer by then, then he's gonna give up. he feels, that because he has been looking into this and praying about this for 30 yrs, then he deserves to get a huge answer to his prayers;not just a subtle STILL SMALL VOICE. he figures that because Joseph Smith did NOT have access to these two books while translating the BofM, then mr. gelormini wants to find support or evidence of it in these two books. if he does, then he'll go with it.
we were lucky enough to get him to read alma 32 while he does it, but it is really frustrating. he said he feels like he was guided to do it this way, so we have to pray that he will recognize his answer. maybe this is the way that god wants him to go about doing it....we don't know, but in 30 days we'll call him....we are going to have his member friend be our "connection" during those thirty days. ugh.
well, my bike is not doing to great. my spokes on my back wheel become loose after just one day of riding. and not just loose, but loose to the point where my back wheel becomes unstable. i might be buying a new rim or something soon, but i don't know how much that'll cost. the genius bike mechanic in our ward said that he has never seen a bike do this before....that's my luck. I'll try and keep you updated on all that jazz. dad, you mentioned a package might be coming my way...can i make 2 suggestions to what is in there?....stamps and multi-vitamins. summer is coming and i am out of multi vitamins.
