Just Kickin' It
thats his little catch phrase due to his last name. he has a t shirt with that phrase on it, so we use it a whole bunch.
oh wow, im having the time of my life. elder kicker is the kind of person i would of hung out with at home. he is soooo funny. not sure if there are too many people i have ever met that are toomuch funnier. he dared me to eat these to SUPER hot chile peppers that were in these tamales and he filmed it on my camera, its funny.
elder kicker is from Missouri, and then there are two spanish elders. elder Lauritzen, he is from centerville, and elder anderson is from somewhere in AZ. elder lauritzen has a nickname that he likes to go by, and its "China-man". he is half korean, haha. he is training elder anderson. they are both way cool.
as for investigators, we have the york family. Bro york grew up in the church but has been less active for 17 yrs. he went inactive as a teenager, but his wife is now getting interested and is becoming active again. they have a 8 yr old daughter and they had a baby son who died. thats what got them getting closer to God. it is a real crazy story. the baby's name was Jordan York. he died while getting babysat at Bro york's parents house (negligence).
they donated jordan's heart to a family who had twins. they had a condition and they gave the heart to the one twin who was more likely to survive. both twins ended up liveing and are fine now. ironically, they family they gave the heart to was LDS, and they all are pretty sure that was a sign and all. it is just a crazy story. thats all for "investigators" but there are some suuuuper goo[d] member missionaries helping us out. they just recently had 2 baptisms, so we are working with them too. the preist's quorum has one member. we are in a ward, but due to inactivity, we are small enough to be a branch.
im having the TIME of my LIFE. it is sooo fun down here. but oh boy, its getting hotter and more humid, UGH! oh well, not much i can do. :D i love you all, take care. who knows how loong ill be here.
