E. Russell Writes Home 12/19/06

Elder Russell could not log on to his my ldsmail.

He said, "i couldnt log in to my ldsmail so i was GOING go use hotmail, but i decided to try spelling my name wrong, like with one "L" and
such, and it worked.....but i had already typed that big thing."

He talks about his companion and his area...
"Elder Merrill is form Seattle. me and him get along VERY
well...so far i have been blessed with two wonderful comps.....and now it scares
me for number three. ahaha.

the weather here is sooooooo nice. highs around 75 and lows around 60. im scared for the summer. navarre is such a nice place.

the david's, a family in the ward, LOVE their missionaries. we had family night
there last night and Bro david comes with us to lessons, when we have
them(members present at a lesson helps SOOO much). as for investigators, since
we were both whitewashed in, we didnt know much that was going on and the
missionaries before us kept and okay area book. we are scheduled to go to
Elizabeth Turrene's on thursday with Bro David. she is an envestigator that the
other miss ionaries were working with. there is another man, that left for army
stuff but is back now, that has had the lessons and wants to talk with us. no
schedule on that yet.

the flea market, mom, is a GREAT place for contacting ppl. Elder Merrill says souvineers are a good thing to have, so i got one and while doing so, passed out two pass-a-long cards the cashier ladies. its a smart idea to do that. so when i get home, we HAVE to come back to navarre. especially during this time of year. perfect weather and, though this is all year round, the beaches have white sand. its really amazing.
you guys ALL would be amazed how well im doing, personally, with my whole "scared to talk to ppl" stuff. im not amazing or anything, but for me, im doing better.
there are two missionaries that live about 15 mins away is Gulf Breeze, and ironically,
its elder beesley and TAAADAAA ELDER BROOKS!. we all spent P Day together. it
was nice. elder merrill said h e is glad he is training for the last bit so he
doesnt get all TRUNKY (lazy and ready to go home)."

oh yeah, mom, you thought i brought alot of ties.......elder merrill has over 80 polyesters. haha, he gave me two. he is my father(trainer) not sure if you guys know the missionary geneology. Father=Trainer. brother=somebody trained by who trained you. grandfather=my trainer's trainer......i think you get it. merrill says ill inherit some ties
because of that. hahah. he'll die in navarre, or so he thinks and ill kill
him. your last comp before you go home "kills" you. so im killing my own dad.
