Happy New Year!

Here is some excerpts from what Elder RusselL said on the 2nd of January.

the lie-berry was closed on monday

thanks so much everybody for my christmas package. that was the coolest thing ever. the guns made p day a blast and now me and elder merrill rock out to mo tab. i sent you guys a letter yesterday, so alot of stuff might be repeated. anyways, thanks for all of that. it made me realize and feel the love. not only thanks for the gifts, but for all of the love and support you ALL have showed me. truly, if it wasn't for that, i dont know if i would be out here. elder merrill opened his christmas package like 3 days early, naughty naughty! mine finally came on the 30th.

so as for Beth Turrene? (the investigator) she apperently has been seeing the missionaries for two years and everyone has been afraid they'll offend her, so they didnt drop her. we talked to her and she doesnt plan on getting baptized for AT LEAST one more year. we will probably visit her one more time and let her know whats up and if that does nothing, its over. she isnt progressing and hasnt been for at least a year. no other investigators though. we do alot of street contacting, because that was pres likes to have us do, and we meet a lot of people and teach brief lessons, but nothing has really happened yet. we are kinda "re-building" this area due to the fact that the last missionaries screwed around. i have faith though, so i know we'll find someone.
